My friend Desiree grew up on Saint Lucia, and told me how popular aperitifs like Campari are on her island.  The warming spices in Ophelia are perfect to punch up a tiki drink for a simple but fun celebration.

The Flora Bird

Ingredients:

  • 3.5 oz pineapple juice
  • 1.75 oz Mad Flora: Ophelia
  • .5 oz lime juice
  • Ice
  • Seltzer Water (optional)
  • Mint bunch and/or luxardo cherries

Procedure:

Pour pineapple juice, Ophelia, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake thoroughly, then pour over ice.  Add seltzer to fill the glass to the top.  Garnish your cocktail with some mint, luxardo cherries, or both.
